Where Do I Begin?

A diagnosis of a developmental disability or autism is the first step in a life journey. The next step is determining where to turn for support for your loved one and family. There are many decisions to make – and questions about the best possible care options can be overwhelming. Each year, Ontario ARC guides hundreds of families through the intake process and puts them in touch with the right programs and services.

Central Intake
Make the first steps with Ontario ARC.  Meet JoEllen Meath, the agency's central intake coordinator.  She assists families navigate the eligibility process and enroll in services – the beginning steps in bright future.  JoEllen can arrange tours of Ontario ARC programs and schedule appointments for families to meet with staff.
